The mearning of 'gros mots' is 'bad/swear words', but 'gros' has many definitions including: large, big, fat, great, heavy, course, thick, strong, stout, full, bulky, hefty, chubby, husky, heroic, smart, and rich.
(happy sigh) Language is fucking cool.
